Will my customers get emails when I import?

No. Nothing is sent to anyone during an import. Payment reminders stay paused until you turn them on, and then only for invoices due in the last 60 days.

Does connecting change anything in Xero or QuickBooks?

No. Matey only reads from Xero and QuickBooks Online. Nothing is changed, added or deleted there.

Can I bring everything over from my old app?

It depends on what that app lets you export. Some don't export everything: Fergus has no documented bulk export, ServiceM8 exports clients, jobs and materials but not invoices, and AroFlo exports come from its reports. Matey shows you exactly what it found before you import.

Can I connect ServiceM8, Jobber or MYOB directly?

Not yet. Direct connections are available for Xero and QuickBooks Online. For everything else, use file import.

What if I import the wrong thing?

Undo it. One tap removes the whole import, so you can fix your files and try again.

I'm already on Matey. Where do I start?

Go to Settings → Switch to Matey in the app, or open usematey.app/switch.
